ABOUT
Overseer Pierre Jones, who is native of Danville Va, is a passionate preacher, teacher, intercessor, and servant leader called to transform lives through the power of God’s Word. With deep roots in Pentecostal and Apostolic faith, Overseer Jones began his spiritual journey at a young age - preaching his first message at 12; entering a season of consecration and revelation at 16; after a heart wrenching battle to let go of his familiar and guided by the Holy Spirit, he embraced the Apostolic Doctrine and was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost.
His training in ministry was shaped under the leadership of several spiritual giants, including his "Spiritual Grandmother" Bishop Clara G. Gerald, Chief Apostle Charles Ricky Walker, and Apostle Dr. Alice Totten, who ordained him as a Minister in 2010 and an Elder in 2013.
In 2017, Overseer Jones answered God's call to establish Thee Apostolic Remnant Church, presently known as The Well Church of Danville. The Well Church is a ministry strongly rooted in prayer, devoted to preaching truth, leading souls to salvation, and directing the church to its latter day glory. Known for his biblical insight, humility, and fiery preaching, he remains committed to reaching both the young and old with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
While Overseer Jones is a proud Father, a graduate of Liberty University in Biblical Counseling, an entrepreneur and published author, he considers his true occupation to be full-time ministry-working diligently in the vineyard of the Lord.
His mission is simple: to preach the Word, equip the saints, and contend for the faith.
